No time is ever a great time for Doc to bust a nut re-encoding 5 movies because 1 Member requests them. PSA is not a fucking Catering Service to specifically bow-down to anyone’s demands/requests. You get shitloads for free as it is.

Buy the BluRays from https://www.blu-ray.com/ & re-encode them yourself & then maybe you’ll have a “come-to-Jesus” moment when you see how much graft it takes to re-encode a single movie release of the high quality output that Doc takes massive pride in!

1. Some Android TV models and boxes has the capability to convert HDR to SDR on the run. Please look at the “Settings/Display/HDR to SDR”. Toggle to “Auto”, or “On” to force the conversion.

2. Questions to ponder if your Android TV lack the settings:
> Is your TV panel actually HDR compatible?
> What would the point of throwing HDR media if your TV can’t project its true colour (native or tonemapped)?

3. Stick to SDR 2160p/1080p/720p.

Thanks udaynatt. 4k HDR works fine on my phone. But doesn’t run on my android TV. I checked n my TV supports 4k HDR content. Lemme try installing codecs n I’ll get back here if it still doesn’t work

Hard to believe there aren’t seeds after just 2 days, so like a fool I potentially wasted time to check, and of course I am right. Waited maybe 30 secs and it started downloading 350kb/s from 2 seeds. 41 had been seen recently. This doesn’t need seeding!

I’m a new member but as long as i knew Admin use the terms “BluRay” when the source is Untouched/REMUX, and use the terms “BrRip” when the source is from another encoding

The 2160p-HDR plays fine in MX-Player on OnePlus 6…
If you can’t play it in AndroidTV using MX-Player, then maybe your TV’s hardware isn’t capable enough.
There are separate codecs available for MX-Player in the PlayStore, you may try looking into that. Sadly, Android isn’t as flexible as Windows when it comes to video decoding.
