Boeing Co.’s new Air Force One faces several issues including unresolved technical modifications that could further delay delivery, congressional auditors found.
Air Force program officials told auditors that “ongoing design issues, modification rework, and workforce challenges” are slowing progress toward modifying two Boeing 747-8 planes into presidential aircraft, according to a Government Accountability Office report released Wednesday.
