Has stain recruitment been gone over already? Because I'd imagine Himiko would be significantly more convincing recruiter than Shigaragi was pre-kamino. Granted, that dead engine ask about her really not being a fan of his maintenance habits was memorable and it would be hilarious if Stain was willing to join league before she noticed that and started ripping at his way of lack of care towards blades! Or maybe she banned him from joining instead!
Bloodright + Dead Engine = The league is actully most vocal anti-Stain group out there this time around! Who joins/does not join the camp attack is reversed, exept there likely won't be a camping trip in league plans at all.
Bloodright: Toga is definitely more sociable and less blindly angry than Shigaraki but that wouldn't change that the League's goals are totally opposed to Stain's. I don't see that recruitment going well, though he probably wouldn't attack her the same way he did Shigaraki.

Dead Engines AU: I had a thought. Why would Mustard join the LOV in this AU? If the LOV developed a reputation of child killers, should Mustard not be concerned for his own safety given he himself is a child regardless of the fact he was willing to attack his age group?

Dead Engine x Expelled: would Iida's death be enough to snap Bakugou out of his post Sports Festival spiral? At least enough so that he doesn't snap and beat the shit out of Todoroki during the Final Exam and get expelled?
That's certainly possible. The impact from that would hit the class hard and not even Bakugou would fail to recognize that

Inko/Kaina/Cathleen X Dead Engine: I’m not sure whether Izuku would snipe Stain from across half a city or if he’d get up close and personal as he killed Stain so hard his last five victims would experience miraculous recoveries.
Presumably he'd stumble across the situation and drag Stain into Gun Eeby Deeby
Dead Engine x Spark of Genius x Blue Blazes: Obviously, there's no way Izuku would just settle for making Iida faster during the buffing process, he has standards. He added several more engines (arms and back, specifically), as well as a far more efficient fuel source (orange flavored gasoline) and a total overhaul of most of his organs.
I don't say this lightly. Stain is screwed.
Naturally. Sparks struggle with sticking to doing a single, simple thing.
It's also very Spark-like for him not to think about Iida's revenge-murder tendencies until Stain's body shows up as raw material
Dead Engine X Spark of Genius X Blue Blazes: Midoriya sees Stain’s speech, goes “nah, fuck that,” and then arranged to have Iida’s body shipped to I-Island to resurrect and buff. Stain was not expecting a hypersonic boot to the head, but hey, Izuku needed more spare parts anyways.

Dead Engine x Spark of Genius: Regarding that 'noumuified Iida' thing, couldn't Midoriya hypothetically turn him into a perfected Noumu (like what was mentioned in a previous spark ask, where they keep their free will and consciousness)? Iida's family would obviously be hesitant at the very least to turn his corpse over to a Spark, but like, if they were desperate.
Midoriya be like:
Dead Engine: Regarding All For One turning Iida into a Noumu, I feel like he would do it to bolster his forces, but mostly just to be petty. Like "ha ha, here's one of your precious Hero students who you failed." He would probably send it to fight 1-A, but especially Midoriya, just for that extra spite.
I feel like he'd throw it at All Might first, that's more his style
Dead Engine: Really messed up thought, but would All for One try and have Iida's body stolen for raw Nomu materials?
Like, he's probably not going to be able to get anyone for the League (save for maybe Dabi, who canonically would not care about the whole "child murderers" thing, and Muscular and Moonfish, who'd probably only complain about Iida's death not being gruesome enough), so they'd basically be COMPLETELY dependent on Nomus to bolster their numbers.
On one hand, yes, they are very dependent on Noumus. On the other hand, as a Legacy, getting Iida's body would be harder, and having a Mutation Quirk limits what they can do with him. Not to say that he's useless to them but they'd have to design a Noumu around going fast.
Though, if they're desperate...

That would be correct. Even if Shigaraki wanted to clear his head, Stain never got popular so he doesn't even have anything to ask Midoriya about in the first place. Someone suggested he meets Toga who has a casual conversation about why Stain is a loser (Didn't maintain his gear) but by this point even Giran would've cut ties so it wouldn't be Shigaraki.
Yeah Shigaraki is never actually gonna figure out his shit
