It offers an opportunity to experience the "future of bread" and its potential. The main content is the "5th Best of Mondial du Pain" international bakery competition, where the top six teams from last year's "9th Mondial du Pain" held in France will gather at the Osaka/Kansai Expo venue to compete for the title of the world's best baker. In addition to the competing teams, top bakers from 28 countries and regions worldwide are expected to come to Japan. At the demonstration booths inside the venue, you can experience a variety of bread cultures from different countries and regions, including exclusive breads and sandwiches made by chefs from Europe, Asia, South America, and other regions that have shown remarkable development. Other highlights include a chef's table where you can enjoy pairings of rare cheeses, charcuterie, wine, and other essential ingredients in the bread scene. There will also be a live talk by a legendary artisan awarded the "M.O.F" (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), a prestigious French title for exceptional craftsmanship. This open, scenic waterfront sauna offers an immersive experience that embodies the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives. Petal-shaped air membrane cushions come together to form a single bud, creating a beautifully dynamic structure that stretches toward the sun, brimming with vitality. The energy of the sun, immersed in the air of the sea, plants, and wind, pours down onto the "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI (Sun Bud)." The delicate yet powerful membrane creates an environment filled with natural energy, harmonizing our minds and bodies and guiding us back to the core of our humanity. The space, enveloped by an ETFE film* membrane that allows natural light to filter through, glows gracefully with LED lighting, harmonizing with the ever-changing nature of Osaka Bay across the seasons and time. The sauna offers a completely new 'co-creation' space, embodying a future society that values “warmth and harmony.” *ETFE film: A high-performance fluoropolymer material that has been processed into a film. It is increasingly recognized for its potential to replace glass, offering new possibilities for architectural design. ※An event-style sauna experience guided by instructions from the staff. ※Please make sure to arrive on time. ※The event date may be subject to change on short notice due to maintenance work on the sauna room. ※The event details are subject to change without prior notice. Therefore, in this initiative, we will work to reduce the amount of plastic used in packaging and switch to materials with lower environmental impact. Additionally, by using food containers made from plant-based materials like bagasse (sugarcane residue) that decompose in soil, we will also contribute to achieving Food Cycling.Future Life ZoneOpen Time05/06/2025 10:00~21:00

An SDGs art project that upcycles a truly seamless heavenly dress. An initiative to co-create a seamless circular dress that will set a Guinness World Record by upcycling resources - an amount of which is estimated to be 5 million tons discarded unused each year around the world - and by using patented technology with an overlock sewing machine. We will introduce our activities that challenge the development of sustainable fashion for the future society by realizing upcycling that utilizes waste generated in the conventional clothing production process through innovation in the production process that does not generate waste in the first place.Future Life ZoneOpen Time05/06/2025 10:00~21:00

Specifically, we are implementing the following four initiatives: 1. Co-creation of beer recipes by generative AI and artisans: We start with the planning of new beer product concepts and search information on which materials and methods to use to express features such as color, aroma, taste, and mouthfeel of beer. 2. Creating product descriptions with generative AI: AI helps in realizing expressions that are timely, beautiful, poetic. 3. Novelizing the process of the product's creation and the scenes of actually enjoying the beer: AI assists in creating engaging narratives about the journey of the beer and the experiences it brings. 4. AI handling business process management: Managing schedules, and so on, allows humans to allocate resources to more creative tasks.Future Life ZoneOpen Time05/06/2025 10:00~21:00

For 3D food printer, Mottaizai will be reprocessed into a food ink. This ink with 3D printer could open up a new world of food with wonderful taste and appearance. Mottaizai waste will be reprocessed into paper materials for packaging. No waste is left with our challenge. Participants may have the oppotunity to think a food loss issue more than ever through our exhibition. - EndedNo reservation requiredExhibitionCreating an exciting health utopia with easy-to-drink functional beveragesWe would like to realize a healthy society of the future by researching and developing functional beverages that can support wellness (specific examples include beverages containing functional ingredients such as hesperidin, a polyphenol found in green mandarins, which has anti-allergy properties, improves blood flow, and has a relaxing effect, and gallate-type catechins from green tea, which are expected to have functional ingredients such as cholesterol and neutral fat absorption suppression, blood sugar level suppression, and anti-glycation effects). We also plan to reduce waste by thinning out the agricultural products that are the raw materials, or by using as many substandard products as possible that cannot be sold on the market, and we would also like to increase the number of organic farms and support sustainable agriculture that is kind to producers and the global environment. We are excited to work towards creating a utopia where people all over the world can continue to live healthy and fulfilling lives.Future Life ZoneOpen Time05/06/2025 10:00~21:00
