So just to recap, you’re a sitting NYC Council member who said a mayoral candidate should be deported, and now you’re pushing something called “inverse rent” like it’s some bold new economic theory. What the hell is that supposed to mean? Pay people to live in one of the most expensive cities in the country without addressing rent caps, wage growth, or the army of middlemen bleeding tenants dry?
This isn’t revolutionary. It’s delusional.
And if this level of thinking qualifies someone to sit on the New York City Council, maybe I should move to NYC and take your seat, because if you can win with that kind of brain fog, then damn near anyone with common sense can too.

Free isn't good enough, we have to start paying them to live here. We can call it inverse rent. It's quite revolutionary.
