They bring shame to their country and then they get mad when we talk about it

thank you for pointing out that women in India are not as empowered as american women to report their rapes. that is a main reason the numbers are so dramatically different from New Yorks.
318
Actually that's not totally true. In India even the girl that stays at home and is wearing full clothes can be sexually assaulted. It's less related t women going out but more to the extremely poor reporting of sexual crimes to the police and even lesser convuction rate. The rapist knows that if he commits a sexual crime wether indoors or outdoors he has almost 1% of getting punished.

the west (particularly Canada) really saw India and it's people and thought "yep, lets invite millions upon millions of these people to live amongst us in our countries". insanity

Never travel around India alone if you're a woman! Stay with close family, or at temple/ashram with international affiliates (eg. ISKCON, Art of Living, etc), or a reputable hotel chain and only travel with locals you TRUST! There are good people in India but also a shit ton of shady folks. Sincerely, desis everywhere

There is something called "rape culture" Here in India. I don't understand how any person can be like "oh well" When something like this happens to anybody of any age. The kids need to be taught that this is not ok. They should be taught that yes, you absolutely tell on someone who is hurting you and yes the person you tell will stop the abuse and help you get on with your life. I read about a place where rapes aren't even filed with police because they do nothing. I've seen so many examples of Women in power here and i've seen the complete opposite where even a police officer commit domestic violence and said it's his private family matter. ️ the kids genuinely are the future and since it's so hard to change adults it's best to just teach the right thing from a young age.

What animals. Theyre all over the world unfortunately, sexual offenders deserve the death sentance in my opinion.

Anyone assaulted my daughter or wife, I’d break their fingers and afterwards they’d never grope another woman.

Each and every sentance in dis vdeo is true. I am frm Bangalore, India . Here womans are not safe in bus train theatre shopping malls or even at work place . 4 yr old daughter gets rapped by her father, one blind child rapped by her neighbour , 8th standrd school girl got rapped by her colouges , tourists gets manhandled . There are laws whivh is passed to face these issues but woman they need to come out and speak .

They knew the boundaries when the lights of the camera were on, what a lame excuse

I think the author, Sunny Handah makes a lot of valid points on reasons why the crime against women is increasing. But, the solutions as mentioned by the academicians don't seem to be good enough..

I am very upset about this story, where this journalist was physically attacked and groped. Sex should Not control someone to the point of harming someone, violently, and, or causing unnecessary suffering through attacks, forced sexual situations, forced abuse, torture, kidnapping, sexual assault, coercion, causing mental harm, causing physical, or emotional harm. Sex should not cause someone’s death or harm. Author Advocate for Humanity, Jason Sandifer, 4/26/2022, 5/09/2022, 6/16/2022

Reporters need a couple of security guards if going into dodgy areas.

I live in India and I feel like I have to disguise myself as a man to go out at night and come back home safely..

The source of the problem is the Caste system and Misogyny in Hinduism(Brahminism).....

as an Indian I'm so very sorry for what happened with Sara Sidner at the Taj hotel, and feel ashamed of my these people who did that terrible thing, but a fraction of people doesn't describe the culture and environment of a country of 1.2 billion people. we are on the path of constant improvement while fighting such malice just like west is fighting racial discrimination

I'm not going to India

3
This is disturbing. Feeling ashamed as a men from India.

It is not a woman's fault AT ALL when they're being harassed or being disrespected! Your comment just makes me sad for where the world's view is now.
1
I’ve watched plenty of documentaries on India and rape and they’re rarely enforced or even reported theirs payoffs and tribal interference to blackmail or threaten woman and families to stay silent.
4
So because a woman decides to wear a shirt with arms showing she's suppose to be groped and disrespected?? Really

WE THE YOUTH OF INDIA WILL CHANGE THE SITUATION,and make our country to be proud against all the taboos created by different people. WE ARE FOR INDIA
