How to set brightness and redshift automatically after unsuspending?
On some laptops, the screen goes to full brightness and blue light filter set by redshift is reset. Is there any way to programmatically set brightness and redshift after unsuspending?
Re: How to set brightness and redshift automatically after unsuspending?
What do you mean by "some laptops"? You'd have to post system details for them. If it's the same Mint release and redshift program on all then it'd most likely be a compatibility problem with the hardware.

Running a command after unsuspending
It's the same Mint release, running from an external SSD. Screen brightness and redshift work fine, but annoyingly reset after a suspension (stand-by) of the system. I am looking for a way to automatically re-enable them after unsuspending. Perhaps through a command that runs automatically once unsuspending.

Not possible AFAIK. Your problem is that some of your machines are buggy with the Linux config on the external drive. There's no program that will fix that.

It is possible to automatically run commands before or after a suspend
, so yes, you could run commands to adjust the brightness and redshift.
