There seems to be a person (using multiple accounts, or maybe multiple oddly likeminded people) going through #chibi tag and leaving borderline obsessive comments on random works.
They claim that the word "chibi" is offensive and that people should stop using it +

I got their comments/quotes on my stuff, and long story short they are apparently doing this out of personal spite for a specific user who also draws in chibi style--

As far as I understand, the word "chibi" when it's not being used directly against a person as an insult is not offensive... So if you're like me and still struggle with post-twitter-overthinking, WE GOOD ✌️+
I got one of these the other day from one account, but I didn't realize that there's more of them now. This is actually getting really sad by this point on this person's part. To be honest I don't know how the victim (Mason) has put up with this for so long, since its literally not their fault.
there's a weird rise in bots that try to farm engagement by leaving strange and argumentative comments on random topics. from the behavior described, this sounds like one of those cases. Just block and ignore, it's nonsense written by an AI
I really hope so! (because someone DMed me saying that person is a stalker who's been after them... so out of these two options, I sure hope it's an ai bot 💀)
oh my gosh one of the folks in my server was talking about this specific one happening to them!!! @.@ I can't believe it's a whole entire thing with bots....
I remember hearing about this from Mason! JFC the chronically online Twitter puritans need to stop crying over a person using chibi in reference to a forum of rendering and touch grass!
Lock and loaded, sniped them with a clear block and report xD.
Omg thank you for sharing! I had to look up the accs and immediately block them
