Hi there. Did you know that in Japanese, "chibi" also has an insulting meaning? Change it to "chibichara," "chibistyle," or "chibixxx" (chibi + character name), and the insulting intent disappears. Let's give it a try! Tell everyone you don't know!
Ah I was unaware of this meaning, sadly I can't edit the above post due to site limitations but I'll definitely change the vgen listing. I genuinely didn't have any insulting intent, I hope you can understand!
It's not nice to be told out of the blue, is it? I am sorry for being rude too. Many people don't know about this. Many people really don't know about this, so it is not your fault. I appreciate your concern.
coming from an english background, and only truly learning Japanese through school and anime/fandom there's a lot I don't know yet, so I appreciate the info! I do want to say that for english speakers you do come off quite blunt, which can also be considered rude. I understand the (1/2)
im Sorry. I'm a machine translator. I can't read English at all. So, if you can point it out in such an easy-to-understand way, it would be very helpful. Thank you very much. Sorry for taking up your valuable time. So, good bye.
I suggest using "You may not know, but" instead of "Did you know" and "You can change it to" instead of "Change it to" (because the second comes off as demanding or rude) finally, change "the insulting intent" to "any insulting intent" "The" sounds like people were using the insult deliberately
