SHERLOCK HOLMES MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!

A meeting that just had to happen! Holmes and Watson are called in regarding the terror occurring at a Paris opera house with claims that it is caused by a ghost. Although Holmes dismisses it outright as a case needing a spiritualist rather than a consulting detective, however he agrees to look into it.

Unknown to him, Eric, the tortured ghost of the opera house will prove to be more than a ghost and more than an able opponent in a battle of wits with Holmes and Watson.

From the grandeur of the Opera House to the catacombs beneath the city of Paris, what happens when Holmes and Watson discover that even a ghost can kill?

The lettering style on the dialog boxes is too difficult to read. I wish they used lettering or all capital letters.

I remember reading this one in the book “Curious Cases of Sherlock Holmes” and it was a true delight. I highly recommend getting this comic instead of “Angel of the Opera”. It may be a short comic but it does a far superior job keeping the characters in character as the original authors intended them to be. I also love his depictions of all the characters especially the phantom, even having a few nods to Kay’s book by including a cat the phantom owns. I also love that Watson is here and the author gives him the respect this character deserves. Wonderful story and wonderfully drawn, it stays true to Doyle’s and Leroux’s original views on their characters and it also has a wonderful twist at the end. I loved this comic!

La historia es muy interesante pero el entintado de los dibujos dificulta la visión de las escenas ilustradas y molesta un poco.

Basically this is the Phantom story retold with Sherlock and Watson inserted into it. It actually works quite well and the art is very good
