Interference with mobile phone services suspected to be caused by illegal radio stations – Beware of SMS phishing scams and other fraudulent messages!
As announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on May 2, 2025 ※, in some urban areas including the Tokyo metropolitan area, there have been reports of interference with mobile phone services suspected to be caused by illegal radio stations, as well as SMS messages believed to be for phishing scams.
Rakuten Mobile, Inc. will cooperate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' efforts to combat illegal radio stations by collecting and providing necessary information.

If you receive suspicious SMS messages, please do not access any URLs contained in the messages or enter your ID, Password, or personal information.
If you access a suspicious website, close the site immediately and delete your browsing history and cookie information as a precaution.
