Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang has warned the Trump administration’s restrictions on the sale of computing chips in China could help Beijing win the artificial intelligence arms race, even as the Silicon Valley giant unveiled strong projections for the growth in use.
Shares in the chipmaker, which has grown into one of the world’s largest companies as demand for its products that have underpinned AI processing soars, jumped almost 6 per cent in aftermarket trading as the company allayed any fears about a slowdown in revenue growth.
