Alright, like I said, i'm going to go play skyrim for a bit, i've kinda hit a brick wall in terms of what opus can really do with scenario cards. I've got a couple ideas brewing for what I want to do next, but it's gonna have to wait :)

so 3.5 huh? I wonder what opus will be like...(still playing skyrim)

I'll probably update the kansen card again, the weights for each character are a bit off. I'll probably save that for when I update shuusaku too though. Who knows...maybe there will even be more :)

07/04 Going to update the kansen card today, got bored of modded skyrim. I updated the weights to make more sense, added a new greeting, and easter eggs. happy 4th :) (here's hoping we get opus before november)

Man I hope 3.5 opus has better vertical japanese support than 3 opus, those weeks I spent translating the kansen novel were rough...shit better have some fantastic ocr capabilities, as I want to take information from the kansen 5 light novel for the sequel card. If not, I hope openai's japanese model is good.

again, this is all dependent on opus actually being good, with how repetitive and uncreative 3.5 sonnet is sometimes, I hope it doesn't follow the same path. Then again, 3.5 sonnet was trained on sonnet and not opus, so that's probably why. :)

08/09 Man this hobby is in a sorry state. If things continue as they are, I might just jump ship to learn rpgmaker :l

08/20 Wanted to check back in and say that I'm not jumping ship. I'm not abandoning this hobby, but a break is definitely warranted though until 3.5 opus comes out. Until then, take care :)

09/11 New update to the kansen card on chub. Added infected greeting as I was originally going to do it back in april, but forgot. The news about strawberry is a bit mixed as well, If it can translate vertical japanese i'll use it...but if it is filtered to shit then it's useless. We'll see what happens.

09/12 Looking at the system card for gpt01, the jump from gpt4o's 0.8287 to gpt01's 0.8788 in japanese doesn't seem like a huge step forward. That and the model looks to be even more filtered..dammit.

2/28 bit late to things, but 3.7 is pretty alright...i've decided to just throw out the kansen stuff and leave shuusaku as it is. Best to start with something fresh and original when I get back into things at some point. I'll update shuusaku at some point to remove any mentions of lovecraft or whatever. I'm mostly just waiting for whatever deepseek is going to give us next, as r2 could very well dethrone opus as the best roleplay model. Just needs better spatial awareness and intelligence.

04/17 wonder how long 4chan will stay dead, wasn't much of a point going on there for quite a while to be honest. Anyways, shuusaku card updated and i've still got stuff in the pipeline, just had to drop kansen as i became disillusioned with the franchise for its overwhelming amount of flaws as I went through them. Kansen re:union was just the final nail in the coffin. Until r2 comes out, take care :)
