Their refusal to chill is canonically a problem so I can only imagine this is still the case here

The wrestling match is only broken up by the intervention of the spirit for the Triforce of Wisdom, making all 3 users very confused while trying to figure out their connection to each other now that they’re in a hive mind.
By the way, wouldn’t this mean the Triforce is united now?
I'm genuinely unsure if that would actually make them stronger at this point
Hive Mind: It's kind of amusing to me how their situation has a whole bunch of existential and post-human crisises packed into it, and the kids are just trying really hard to ignore them all in favor of focusing on all the cool Quirk stuff they can do.
It's that or confront those existential nightmares and I know what I'd prefer
Hivemind AU: The vestiges can communicate with rest of class 1-A right? If so, do you think any of the vestiges would have talked to/reached out to Yuga about his situation surrounding AFO? And do you think Yuga would be somewhat nervous when it comes to Yoichi since, y’know, Yoichi is AFO’s brother.
Yoichi probably would reach out to him about it considering that he's been pretty up-close and personal with AFO's empire before and is familiar with his tactics. All Might too, considering his multi-year crusade upon his return from America
Hive Mind X Broken Legacy:
So, my part in the suggestions that were merged to become Hive Mind was Midoriya having a “hidden” quirk like Yoichi. A quirk that let him “share” his quirk with several people at once. A quirk that, by itself, does nothing, just like Yoichi’s quirk that can be passed along to somebody else would effectively do nothing.
This became Hive Mind because of being overpowered by One For All… but now Midoriya only has one ninth of One for All, so presumably it wouldn’t advance too far just yet, meaning this is a Midoriya who can actually control his quirk, temporarily sharing the power stockpile (and blackwhip) among small groups without having to worry about permanently fusing his brain with his whole class!
…
At least, until he used his quirk on somebody else with a fragment of One for All, and their quirks fused together. That… doesn’t seem like it’s gonna come apart anytime soon.

Okay, I have a wild combination of AUs: Hive mind x Boogeyman. Hear me out: The USJ attack is a cover operation by the HPSC to undermine UA and Nedzu, and to instill fear of AFO in future heroes. Izuku just has a dormant telepathic quirk that goes overdrive during the attack. (No Vestiges nor All might nor quirk upgrades, sadly) The plan backfires horribly and the HPSC is left with 20 people very determined to bring "AFO" down... And Yoichi salivating for this potential 20x1 body deal.
I think Yoichi would actually want to stay the hell away from that in case the link fights back

If were STILL going the 'Its Izukus unknown hidden quirk' of Hivemind that means theres STILL a chance for a USJ Panic casting net
Afterall this is simply the OfA connection taking root , Izuku hasnt done anything other than be a very confused 9 yearold
There's also the possibility that this Midoriya figures out how his Quirk works before he accidentally a hive mind

We established the comedy of Himiko thinking she finally went crazy hearing 20+ people in her head suddenly , i however want to acknowledge the whole 'Her Crush' thing
I cant decide if this is like the one version of HiveMind that actually gets some Romance simply because she just doesnt care , but it atleast becomes a background sideplot / recurring gag
I can very easily picture her being told about 'the lack of privacy would cause ... intimacy issues...' and Toga just going 'I see nothing wrong with this, its more Love!'

You know, way back when, someone asked how Endeavor was doing during the Hive Mind AU. I think they were more asking how it went when the twenty other people (and seven ghosts) saw the "Training" he put Shoto through. Because I'm sure Shoto would have a flashback when he saw people using his quirk and/or asking for pointers.
Hive Mind: Mineta potentially being trans here just makes me imagine how it'd get discovered. They'd just swap genders one day out of curiosity, and the moment they do the entire collective just gets slammed with euphoria out of nowhere. Possibly followed by Asui groaning, because now she has to explain it to them.
There's also the possibility of Mineta getting it secondhand from the whole mind share thing

I feel like we are really not tapping into the 'immortality / regeneration / peak bodymodding' thing as much as we could
Like yes theres shenanigans of how Canon gets derailed and their school / dorm life during those 2-3 years , but like what about 8 years after graduation and have rather firmly established their team? 30 years and most of them have decided to retire/semi retire to focus on something besides being Pros?
Having reread and considered this ask a few times it's not as relevant a reminder as I first thought but it doesn't come up often so I'll mention it again anyway that in this AU Mineta transed her gender
But you are correct that while there have been many silly asks about them fucking around with their ability to do more or less whatever the hell they want with their bodies including possibly getting entirely new ones, it's not received much direct focus.
Also also. How do you even retire when you are immortal and can regenerate. Like. I'm sure at some point they'll at least want a long break from any one job no matter how much they enjoy it. But also. Immortal regenerators.
