Clarification on licensing #161

Description

@aronson

Hello! I am interested in this work and love to see so much progress from a team of developers. I'm confused about the state of these sources and would love to understand how I may use this work.

I want to ensure I’m respecting all contributors’ licensing choices correctly.

The license provided is GPLv2. I see this SD card driver is attributed to Till Harbaum who did not appear to contribute to this project directly. It states its license is LGPLv3. I see the resultant file is a single binary. The Lesser component of LGPLv3 would likely necessitate there to be at least two binaries (IANAL) unless this work is GPLv3, so users may drop in other implementations.

Is this work GPLv2 or GPLv3 going forward? I would love to integrate this into an end-user experience for myself and many other passionate GBA players and want to make sure I'm licensing correctly. 🙂

If there are any licensing concerns that need addressing, I’d be happy to help research solutions or contribute to resolving them.

Thank you!
