1/2 Today I summoned Israel’s Ambassador to the FCDO. I made clear the UK’s opposition to expanded military operations in Gaza and rising violence & intimidation by Israeli settlers against Palestinian communities in the West Bank. The UK will not stand by as this happens.

The UK, alongside 25 other partners, urges Israel to allow the full resumption of aid now. The limited supplies due to enter Gaza are simply not enough. The UN has raised concerns over new aid model proposals. Israel must ensure the UN & agencies can operate.
