Jupiter is by far one of the better experimental ambient artists I've come across.

I don't know why some people are saying this is scary. It's sounds quite therapeutic to me
662
It sounds so desolate and lonely yet it has its own serene beauty.

Jupiter seems to have the most mesmerizing, mysterious "song"of all the planets.

If people think this is creepy then they have not heard what Saturn sounds like

I always gravitated towards Jupiter (lol) and felt something awe inspiring about it (had a minor obsession with it back in 1997 and 1998 actually and was fascinated by it's moons and it's atmosphere and the idea that it could've been a star). This sound feels calming and benevolent, like Jupiter is the older brother looking out for us, guarding the inner solar system and sweeping it of asteroids whilst it oversees the expanse of the tempestuous and tumultuous outer solar system and it's drama. Jupiter is a benevolant sovereign who looks after it's little siblings in a way. I feel safe listening to this.

to be weird, this sounds like when someone takes a shower and you can hear the water running through the pipeline.
478
How is this both so peaceful, and so terrifying.
495
You and yourself, by yourself, and alone. In space. Floating away toward Jupiter. Sound gets deeper, and darker.

That one moment when the humans figure out your sound.
902
Some people find it creepy. I find it fucking beautiful.

This recording is, to me, the most fascinating, intriguing, and relaxing but also eerie sound ever recorded. I have listened to all the planets, but this one is really unique and absolutely incredible. And it is, of course, my favorite not only recording but also planet ... after planet Earth.

Think about this. Space is really an abyss of just darkness. I imagine myself just flying away from Earth. Imagine this sound, just being in space. You keep kicking, propelling yourself further into the abyss, farther from Earth. You pass Mars, and keep going. You pass the asteroid belt, and keep going. Then you see this giant mass of just gas, in a perfect sphere, floating. All you hear are these sounds. And anything beyond this point of where you're at, is another gas ball with rings, followed by two more. Then a small rocky dwarf planet, and then what? Kupier belt? What's after that? What's outside of our galaxy? It's so ominous to not really know. Yet here we are, confined to this small planet as we are literally pixels in our solar system. It's kind of... scary, don't you think? And to throw it in, maybe we are alone. Maybe we are put on this Earth by whatever, to discover what really is out there.

The best thing is: He is playing this sounds since billions of years and he will continue playing this sounds for billion of years. Longest song ever (except the songs of even older Suns and planets :P)

It's beautiful

Uranus: I'm a gassy giant Jupiter: Hold my storms

bruh I literally want to leave this on loop so it can lull me to sleep. Beautiful and relaxing
15
I feel a bit of nostalgia inside me while listening to Jupiter, I imagine being alone on a desert with cold wind and at very dark night

Great background music for a horror video game.
209
Better than Justin Bieber

when mankind can travel to other planets one day, they should always carry a device to do this wave translation live. I believe it makes sense.

Everyone one is like "oooh so scary" and I'm just here chillin'.

Jupiter and I have a strong bond. When I was around 6, like a lot of science loving kids space is awesome, and when I heard about Jupiter, learned about it, I knew it was my favourite planet outside our own. When I first found YouTube, THIS video was one of my first videos. When I learned about Voyager 1 and found out that electromagnetic waves can be turned into sound, this video made sense and became deeply beautiful. Now I return accidentally and I still feel the same way as then, and my desire to learn returns. Jupiter is a fascinating planet, and nothing can break the way I feel about it.

I love the sounds of Jupiter,it’s so relaxing you could play a 10 hour of Jupiter sounds in your sleep.

All I wanted was some rain noise but my phone wouldn't load them. Now I have to fall asleep to this beautiful shit.

Jupiter has background music? THAT'S IT! I'M MOVING TO JUPITER!
208
Anyone else thinking of 2001: A Space Odyssey?
149
For some reason I love this more than I should but if you ask me I can describe the sounds in my own way Imagine you are downstairs in your house or when you get a house with 2 floors someone takes a bath yes a bath and you can hear all the water running through the pipes, with the air conditioner on and doing it’s thing in the middle of a hurricane with intense winds, and your tv is static, with some thunder. That’s what Jupiter sounds like to me personally
26
I can honestly meditate to this :3
53
What truly amazing with this sound for me is, it sounded like a man made music, but knowing it is actually nature's sound, OMG. :o

The universe is such a beautiful place.
