I think it's one of the reasons for the "men falling behind" phenomenon. By destroying the old mating system, old values and male social preeminence men are bound to feel alienated in regards to women : not being promiscuous from their late adolescence up to their late 20's at least will not only make them unnatractive to women but also repulsed by them.

Some might say "why wouldn't they be promiscuous, everybody likes sex, it's their fault" but i think we know the answer to this : it's about competing and performing for men while it' about looking pretty and opening their legs for women.

Sexual liberation, feminism, individualism... are all a one sided tyranny. That's why some guys just feel dejected and opt out.

And as if what i described wasn't enough, men have to go along with it while society and women bellitle, villainize and in some ways even openly oppress them.
