Core Ultra 200 Refresh
The long rumored and often considered cancelled Arrow Lake Refresh is back on the schedule, and it might arrive sooner than expected?
This is still speculation, but according to Jaykihn0, who has accurately shared early information on various Core Ultra 100 and 200 series products, the Arrow Lake Refresh is actually part of the Core 200 lineup.
This suggests that instead of a Core 300 series based on Arrow Lake, Intel may only release select refreshed SKUs within the current generation. Jaykihn0 has already revealed that the refresh is planned exclusively for K-series CPUs, meaning only the highest-end models would receive updates.
Two conclusions can be drawn from this. First, the Core 200 refresh is expected to arrive before the Core 300 series, which is said to feature Panther Lake and is likely to launch by the end of this year. Second, this could indicate that LGA-1851 may support only one generation, Core 200 with its refresh, before being replaced.
Recently, there was a leak involving Nova Lake-S, which was previously rumored to be compatible with LGA-1851. However, shipping manifests suggest it will use a new socket: LGA-1954.

There is no confirmed release window for Arrow Lake Refresh, nor is it expected to bring a major performance uplift. Earlier reports indicated the refresh would focus primarily on the NPU, while some older rumors suggested it could include an increased core count. At this point, the most likely change appears to be higher clock speeds, though it’s possible there may be other minor updates as well.
