The Statue of Liberty was a diplomatic gift from one nation to another, not a personal luxury item for a corrupt leader to joyride in.
Marxist reasoning has nothing to do with illegal gifts to heads of state. The issue is Trump accepting multimillion-dollar perks from foreign governments while actively running the executive office. That’s a violation of the Constitution, not a damn French statue.
