Republicans kicked out the immigrants. Now they want to force struggling Americans to take the same low-wage jobs they refused to pay decently in the first place. They’re saying, “No Medicaid unless you apply for five dead-end jobs.” That’s their solution.
Prices are already up. Wages are stagnant. The GOP still refuses to mandate a living wage. So what’s their plan? Child labor? Florida already tried that too. They wanted 14-year-olds to work overnight shifts. This isn’t policy. It’s a corporate gimmick.
These jobs, like picking fruit, scrubbing floors, and stocking shelves, are important. But they don’t lead anywhere without opportunity. Republicans don’t want to fix that. They want to exploit it and then blame Democrats.
And somehow, MAGA voters fall for it every time. They live in trailer parks, in states with the worst GDP, worst education, and worst healthcare. But they still point fingers at Democrats while the people they vote for rob them blind.
