I, though a long time fan of Mozilla, have totally shifted to samsung internet ever since I have started using my smartphone for internet access. The dark mode is fabulous!

My question is: How do I access the webpages I’ve saved in sam internet?

The pages are saved in a folder that is accessible only with root access (which I don’t have). I need to export the htm pages or copy them to my computer so I can work on them there.

Sharing the saved webpage only seems to copy the link to Samsung notes and not the contents.

Help is appreciated, I’d hate to have to shift to chrome only because of this.

Hello Elfhealer, Congratulations on your first post on Samsung Developers Forum, Welcome to the Community !!!

We looked into your query and had a communication with the ‘Samsung Internet’ team in this regard. The contents of saved pages are stored on the app data directory. So it won’t be accessible via file explorer applications or tools. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello, What is samsung doing to allow us to export these pages? As users, we were not aware that these pages cannot be exported (either as a zip file and via bluetooth to some other device) and now we have so many saved pages that we want access to outside of the Samsung browser and all of sudden you are telling us we cannot do that. Had this been made aware when we used the Saved Pages feature for the first time, we would not have used it. Now we are stuck with no way to access all those pages outside of the Samsug browser.

Please provide as way to access them outside by allowing us to export.

My wife has in one way or another stored 13.500 pages in samsung internet and now it can’t even do a backup of this app. I think Samsung should develop a solution. The app appears primitiv without any information on limitations in use off otherwise good functions.

FYI This is not the correct forum for consumer product bug reports, questions, or concerns. This forum is for third-party developer issues, people that develop apps FOR Samsung devices.

But funny you think the problem is the app not your wife :rofl: Delete the copies!

Not all people in the world are computer literate. My wife is not - and she just use the apps facilities as they appear. And she is fond of the pages she has saved.
