Unlike what Samsung representatives say on stage, they do not care about user feedback.
For example, people have been asking for the option to always start with the rear camera regardless of which camera was last exited. 5 years ago, someone at Samsung said they forwarded this suggestion, but nothing came from it.

There is already a "settings to remember" page in the camera settings, but it does not include always launching the rear camera. You can only set it to always launch on photo mode instead of the last used mode, for example video mode.
They also needed more than a decade to implement the simple ability to turn the continuous flashlight on or off during an active video recording, not only before starting a recording. People have been asking for this since the early 2010s, yet it wasn't until the 2020s until Samsung finally made it a thing. Ten years for something that shouldn't have required a single afternoon.
Also, do I need to mention that users have long been asking for the ability to back up saved pages from Samsung Internet? Samsung Internet saves pages in a way they can only be viewed inside the app, not from external software like file managers. This means they can not be backed up or viewed from a different device.
This was repeatedly requested since 2020 ( https://forum.developer.samsung.com/t/regarding-saved-webpages/5304/1 ), yet Samsung has not acted upon it in 5 years.
Hey, Samsung. Stop pretending you care about user feedback.
To Samsung's credit, they mercifully allow turning off this pull-to-refresh nonsense in their Internet browser that has been plaguing Google Chrome mobile users since 2019. (It was there since 2015 but it can't be turned off since 2019.) But this was there from the time they added pull-to-refresh, not because users asked Samsung for it; they did it voluntarily.

Got my JetBlack 512GB today. While it feels so much lighter than the S24 Ultra I definitely think that the build quality feels much more superior or premium on the S24 Ultra as compared to the 25 Ultra. Don’t know if I’m alone with this thought.

All world fellows do not waste money on it because Samsung just launched 16GB Ram for South Korea, Taiwan and China. So Boycott Samsung it is the same thing as Note 20 Ultra 12GB Ram. Buy OnePlus with 16GB Ram in less price.

There are options avaible in ESR like Matte finish or glossy finish. Use Matte finish. It will reduce glares by 50%. Also its not expensive. You can find it on Amazon.

I called it before based on random observations but everyone said im just saying stuff but i knew it was like this, the anti-glare tech is useless for most people.
And yeah a relative has an s23 ultra with a glass protector that has a working fingerprint scanner, im gonna see if there's something we can do about it. Thanks for the input.

Dunno if it's cus of the glass he's using or cus that's just how it is.

Actually I have this phone S25U and iPhone 16 pro max in terms of performance Samsung is a on top comparing to the 16 pro max also on the other hand way better than any Chinese brands bec of long range android updates and reliable customer service which makes samsung simply the best smartphone company until now

And why you want to drop your phone multiple time? You talking about camera s25u? I have both phones and s25u is very behind competition. Are you blind. If you want pure stock android go buy pixel phone. Every other phone have pre installed bloatware apps. You are just lazy to remove bloatwares. Its not worth the price. S23u has a better camera sensor and s25u is a downgrade in camera department.
s25u is a downgrade. S25u is a recycled phone. As i said, i regret buying s25u and selling soon.

You can try for yourself from setting, developer option and opt for show screen refresh rate. And talking abt IP69 where you can through your phone under extreme water jets or high temp. May be 1% of people will do that or people who work in such enviroment will do, but its not the Absolute necessity. IP 68 also does the job. And talking abt durability, you can check on Youtube X200 pro shattered before 25 Ultra in drop test. Besides Vivo also give unwanted 3rd partie apps pre- installed even in flagship while Samsung gives their own apps, which people think is a bloatware. There is no doubt S 25 Ultra falls behind its competitors in terms of battery but 70% of youtubers agree that S 25 Ultra camera is more reliable than other phones.

Shame on Samsung. Literally milking the same battery since 5 years. Recycling the same cameras, reusing last years display, lack of fast charging, 12 GB RAM when the standard in this segment is 16 GB. Only saving grace is One Ui but that too is Available on S24 Ultra with the proper S pen

Last time your talking about how good samsung camera and their display. Well they are not the best. Their display has a low PWM and thier anti reflective display reduces true color. I will tell you x200 pro can go 0hz if not use while s25u cannot. If durability your talking it has ip69 rating and you cannot bent easily.

On... moreI had considered buying the X200 Pro at first but then i looked deep into every specs and details including after warrenty services. Samsung has a brand value as compared to Vivo. Coming from Galaxy Note 9 after so many years, i would rather not trust a chinese phone just because they have a better camera or bigger battery. For me what values the most is how the company treats their customers, in terms of any complaints or services. Samsung has provided topnotch services till now. On the other hand Vivo is unreliable as their customer service is really bad in India. Besides, software support is just 4 years than 7 yrs on S 25 Ultra. People want long lasting durable phones, not just camera centric phones. I personally dont change phones like every couple or 5 years. Thats my personal opinion and i think many people will also think the same.

Have you seen a Chinese SIC phone recall? Samsung don't even need to develop it themselves. They could have just outsourced it. Internal QA testing exists you know. All your arguments are just cope because Samsung refuses to put better hardware on their flagships. Imagine paying top dollar for lousy hardware.

Even a 50 Mp camera ... moreAll that talk and an overwhelming majority still says competitors like Vivo X200 Pro outclassing the S25U. The S25U camera pales in comparison if you compare it the competition. All that optimisation will not fix a reused camera from the S23U. 7 years of software updates is meaningless if the battery is less durable and the phone is nearly twice as expensive as the competiton. I rather buy 2 Chinese flagships within the span of 7 years than get a S25U. Also Samsung's screen isn't the best anymore because they don't even use the latest panels for their phone. They sell it to competitors.

Ortana, 30 Apr 2025Still unforgivable they are reusing sensors from the S23U on the S25U. People want larger sensors.Its not the Megapixel or larger sensor, its how they optimise the camera. Even a 50 Mp camera can be as good as 200 mp camera if the optimisation is excellent. Samsung has given natural tone to the S25 Ultra cameras. Every sensor in this phone gives same color output which should be provided by every company but none of them give you consistant result as this phone gives. Besides camera they provide you best screen of all time. As you have said earlier Samsung gives best screen to other brands and use low quality screen to their phones, Samsung and BOE are the 2 main supplier in tech world who provides screen to every company. S25 Ultra has 2600 nits peak brightness while many other companys are racing for higher numbers like 4500 or even 6000. But the Anti-reflective coating provides best output in direct sunlight and cuts 90% glares which not a single company provides in their flagship. Charging speed is slow, I completely agree to it and even they should have provided Carbon Silicon battery, but Samsungs approach towards their flagship is safe as this new tech is just few months old and not a single company says its the safest battery ever. Samsung had a big loss over the Note 7 fiasco, and they dont want this to happen again. So playing safe cards is always a good approach than running in a race where the outcome is unknown. The video quality and stabilisation on this phone is now as good as Iphone. Its buttery smooth. Plus software update policy is now 7 years which chines phones lack. Chinese phones give you hell lot of bloatwares too, because they earn from the third partie apps, which Samsung does not provide in Flagships. Titanium frame, Gorilla armour 2, AI features are a beast and warrenty service they provide are unmatched. So you should also consider these things too. For these reasons I always love Samsung Phones.
