China’s exports of video game consoles, controllers and other attachments to Russia grew to more than $95 million last year. This amount is nearly seven times as much as that in 2022, when Russia began its invasion of Ukraine.
Such exports from China are likely being used in Russia as the devices that control military drones as it is unlikely that there has been a sudden surge in public demand for game consoles in Russia because its economy is declining.
