Fun fact for the history-challenged: the Gulf of Mexico has been called that since at least 1550—over 270 years before the United States even existed. Let that sink in.
So what gives this orange piece of fascist shit the right to rename it to the “Gulf of America”? He doesn’t. But, of course, a bunch of insecure old white fascist men in Congress are scrambling for cheap culture war points because they’ve got nothing else to offer.
No policies, no progress—just symbolic garbage to rile up their base of flag-humping simpletons. You’re not patriots. You’re rebranding geography like it’s a damn reality show.
