And again you resort to comparing the opposition of fascism to fascism itself. If a fascist directs his violence upon a person, and that person defends themself with violence: one operating out of hatred with the aim to eradicate, the other protecting their life – if you equate the two, you are incredibly fucking dumb and are not helping in the slightest.

Re-read the original tweet. Think about what being a Nazi or a fascist stands for. Make a connection in your head that identifying as a fascist is NOT the same as identifying as belonging to a particular race, ethnicity, gender, etc. My race, for example, will exist regardless of my actions, as long as it is perceived and believed in by society. My race does not reflect my qualities as an individual. Being a fascist, on the contrary, reflects one's personal qualities: them believing that entire groups of people don't deserve to exist based on some perceived constructs they have no control over. Me belonging to a particular race does not threaten the existence of anyone. One being a fascist – does. And it's easy not being a fascist, actually. So the opposition to such people is entirely justified, they CHOSE to believe in what they believe in.

If you fail to see this, I see no reason to continue this discussion. Fascists get to thrive because of the inaction of people around them. Inaction that people like you cultivate.
