We're excited to share that Rishabh Bachhawat, Adriteyo Das, Aayush Barhate and Noorain Eqbal (L-R) represented us at the EXPLOIT-X KPR #CTF on 5th April 2025 at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. The event, organised by the institute's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, was a fierce 8-hour offline competition against 40+ teams that tested the team's skills across disciplines such as cryptography, computer forensics, web security and OSINT, following which the team came second, earning a cash prize of ₹6,000 and an EC-Council CEH voucher worth ₹40,000. We want to thank the event patrons, EC-Council, Sparkout Tech Solutions Inc., and HackupTechnology for sponsoring the event and the host institute for the smooth conduct of the event. We look forward to more opportunities to grow, learn, and excel in future events.

Our team, comprising of Aryan Saraf, Venkataraman Seshadri, Kenneth Rodrigues and Devansh Dubey, participated in the highly competitive CyberStorm #CTF's finale hosted at SIES Graduate School Of Technology, Mumbai, last weekend. After competing against 400+ teams in the online qualifier, our team made it to the finals, where their outstanding performance helped them secure a top spot amongst 44 teams at this national-level event. This achievement, especially from a team comprising solely first-year engineering students, shows what passion and dedication can achieve in #cybersecurity.

Competing against 56 teams nationwide, Barri Harshith and Lakshit Verma showcased impressive skills at KJSSE #CTF 2.0, hosted by KJSCE CodeCell, K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai. Their efforts led them to clinch the first place, securing a cash prize of ₹15,000 🎯. The event was sponsored by OffSec, Redfox Security - Penetration Testing Services, Altered Security, and other esteemed partners, bringing together top info-sec talent. This victory reflects our team's unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment to continually push the boundaries of #cybersecurity.

We proudly announce that our members, Madhav Menon and Adwait Gupta (L-R), represented Cryptonite and showcased exceptional skills at Prometeo 2025, IIT Jodhpur, excelling in the CTF event organized by Craw Security . Team Cryptonite's "NiteWatch" clinched the top spot at the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024 - Software Edition held at IIT Jammu on December 11 and 12, 2024, marking their second consecutive win at SIH. The challenge posed was creating an intelligent system to recover deleted data and associated metadata from XFS and BTRFS filesystems. Presented by the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Center (NCIIPC), the task focused on developing a recovery tool for disk forensics. It required advanced knowledge of file system structures and data recovery techniques. By tackling this problem, the team demonstrated their commitment to advancing technology and providing impactful solutions for safeguarding national information security infrastructure.
