We're excited to share that Rishabh Bachhawat, Adriteyo Das, Aayush Barhate and Noorain Eqbal (L-R) represented us at the EXPLOIT-X KPR #CTF on 5th April 2025 at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. The event, organised by the institute's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, was a fierce 8-hour offline competition against 40+ teams that tested the team's skills across disciplines such as cryptography, computer forensics, web security and OSINT, following which the team came second, earning a cash prize of ₹6,000 and an EC-Council CEH voucher worth ₹40,000. We want to thank the event patrons, EC-Council, Sparkout Tech Solutions Inc., and HackupTechnology for sponsoring the event and the host institute for the smooth conduct of the event. We look forward to more opportunities to grow, learn, and excel in future events.

Team Cryptonite's "NiteWatch" clinched the top spot at the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024 - Software Edition held at IIT Jammu on December 11 and 12, 2024, marking their second consecutive win at SIH. The challenge posed was creating an intelligent system to recover deleted data and associated metadata from XFS and BTRFS filesystems. Presented by the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Center (NCIIPC), the task focused on developing a recovery tool for disk forensics. It required advanced knowledge of file system structures and data recovery techniques. By tackling this problem, the team demonstrated their commitment to advancing technology and providing impactful solutions for safeguarding national information security infrastructure.
