Sherlock Holmes & the Case of Vittoria the Circus Belle

Rate this book
Sherlock Holmes—yes, Holmes—takes up his pen in the service of chronicling 'The Case of Vittoria the Circus Belle'. For when a terrific heat wave stifles much of the activities in and out of London during the summer of ‘94, the detective’s own whimsical joke against Dr. Watson forces Holmes into playing the role of “trusted colleague” to his friend when a client comes calling. The ruse proves helpful, however, when the doctor chooses to take the case for in Holmes’ own words: “I do not look for lost dogs, Watson.”
