A nurse has been charged with the statutory rape of a minor after allegedly having sex with her 15-year-old stepson.

Alexis Von Yates, 35, was discovered with the schoolboy on the sofa by his father during the school holidays last year. The boy reportedly ran out of the home while Yates is alleged to have explained the victim resembled his dad when he was younger, according to an explosive affidavit.

Yates is alleged to have put her two children to bed at the couple's home in Ocala, Florida, before the incident on July 26 last year. The Mirror reports that she spent time with the teen in the living room before they played video games and watched movies while his father worked late.

But at about 1am Yates switched over to a horror movie and allegedly attempted to tempt the victim into sex, stating she was bored and "horny".

Yates is alleged to have further attempted to guilt the teen into engaging in illicit activities.

According to court papers, she stated "she had not had sex in two weeks, she was on her period," the victim told officers.

Yates is alleged to have kissed the teen before reportedly stating: "I wish you were 18, because you're not old enough."

The affidavit then said Yates "kicked off" her underwear before allegedly engaging in oral sex and intercourse without a condom with the victim.

Shortly afterward, the father returned home and after hearing Yates' attempted explanation, he then drove his stepson to his grandparents.

He is alleged to have told the child he "ruined his life" as he drank alcohol during the drive, the affidavit said. Before the alleged assault, Yates reportedly attempted several acts of seduction toward the teen.

She allegedly told her stepson following a workout session at the gym: "I bet everyone thought you were my little boy toy." She is also alleged to have put whipped cream on some of her tongue before sticking it out toward the child. "Oh, you like that," she is alleged to have said.

The teenager told police Yates would regularly tell him that she was "horny". Following the alleged encounter, Yates reportedly called the child to say she wished they kept having sex and that they had not been discovered.

She allegedly asked the child to rate her sexual performance. "Seven out of 10," he replied. A concerned family member reported Yates to the police after the dad did not, the affidavit said.
