Chee Hong Tat greets PAP supporters at Yio Chu Kang Stadium
Mr Chee Hong Tat, who is helming the PAP slate for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, thanked supporters at Yio Chu Kang Stadium following the announcement of the sample count for the constituency.
Mr Chee was seen waving and taking photos with supporters at the venue.
PAP’s team garnered 75 per cent of the sample vote, while its opponent SPP received 25 per cent.

Supporters turn up for Low Yen Ling
Ms Low Yen Ling, PAP’s candidate for Bukit Gombak SMC hugged one of her supporters
When she arrived at Bukit Gombak Stadium.
Clad in white, some party supporters came with her posters. One of them read: “Ms Low, you are the best”.
Ms Low is up against PSP’s Harish Pillay. She is leading with 75 per cent of the vote share according to sample counts.

Grandma, grandson among first to arrive at Yio Chu Kang Stadium
Ms Judy Heng and her six-year-old grandson Joziel were among the first supporters to arrive at Yio Chu Kang Stadium on polling night.
The 64-year-old said they were there to support PAP candidate Ng Chee Meng, who is contesting Jalan Kayu SMC.
Ms Heng added that they had attended the PAP’s rally in Sengkang last Sunday.

PAP projected to improve on its 2020 showing in multiple constituencies

Sample count results show the PAP polling strongly in various constituencies islandwide, improving on the ruling party's showing in 2020.
The PAP is projected to garner 80 per cent or more of the vote in Tanjong Pagar GRC, Holland-Bukit Timah GRC, Queenstown SMC and Jurong Central SMC.
In Ang Mo Kio GRC, the PAP team helmed by Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong is projected to get 79 per cent of the vote, up from 71.91 per cent in 2020.
The PAP team led by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC is projected to secure 74 per cent of the vote, an increase from 63.18 per cent in the last election.
In Chua Chu Kang GRC, the PAP also looks set to improve on its 2020 showing despite fielding a slate with three newcomers to the area - Manpower Minister Tan See Leng, who was moved from Marine Parade, as well as new candidates Jeffrey Siow and Choo Pei Ling.
Based on the sample count, the PAP is projected to secure 63 per cent of the vote in Chua Chu Kang, with the PSP getting 37 per cent. The PAP had garnered 58.64 per cent of the vote against the PSP in the 2020 General Election.
PAP supporters cheer after sample count revealed for Ang Mo Kio GRC
PAP supporters gathered at Yio Chu Kang Stadium chanted “Ang Mo Kio” after the sample count for the GRC was announced.
A preliminary count of the voting slips saw the PAP in the lead with 79 per cent of the votes, while the People’s Power Party and the Singapore United Party trailed behind with 10 per cent and 11 per cent of the votes respectively.

WP supporters at Serangoon Stadium in high spirits
WP supporters erupted into loud cheers at Serangoon Stadium at around 10pm after it was announced that the party was leading with 59 per cent for Aljunied GRC according to sample count.
The WP Aljunied GRC line-up includes Mr Pritam Singh, Ms Sylvia Lim, Mr Gerald Giam, Mr Fadli Fawzi and newcomer Kenneth Tiong.
WP Punggol GRC candidates Harpreet Singh and Alexis Dang were also spotted at the stadium.

Ong Ye Kung thanks supporters ahead of sample votes
PAP candidate for Sembawang GRC Ong Ye Kung arrived at Yio Chu Kang Stadium to thank party supporters who had gathered there to wait for results.
The PAP is up against the National Solidarity Party and the Singapore Democratic Party in this election in Sembawang GRC.
