It's ironic these kind of people will be the first to call any white lady that disagrees with them a "Karen", while they foster this self-justifying administrative class that operate as a serendipitous racket. It's not unique to the left, but man they seem to do it better than anyone before them, and it's totally opposite of the society I wanted when I would have been labeled a "progressive".

It's actually a regressive appeal to neurotic and controlling people (the people who make up the administrative class) in the name of all the unfalsifiable initiatives ("diversity", "anti-ism", etc). The vague ends are used to justify the means. The *means are what really drives them though, not these ends.

The elements of nurture and nature that resulted in them supporting the far left instead of the far right are actually way less significant than their desires to control, hate, bully, absolve themselves of accountability, etc. That's why the people who "switch sides" often take up the equally radical activism opposite of their previous position.

This guy is a mod of the soccer sub. I recognize the account name from a previous posting this week, where he was shown banning people (and then eventually locked the thread, as always) in a discussion of Scotland banning the "that which is not allowed to be named by name" athletes from women's soccer.

So - yeah - he bans tons of people for not toeing the line with regards to his politics.

Edit: While looking for that post, I found another one in here where the same mod is doing the same thing. It's simply incredible how often these sorts of activists have been allowed to capture massive subs, and then police everyone else's ability to discuss anything, based on their preferred politics.

This quack has been responsible for so many deaths, not just the original 2 in his early history. That tragic story is worth a read. Fair warning!: NOT for the faint of heart. :-( But it goes much farther than that.

The medical community has failed trans people so far, because so many listen to demented quacks such as this.

There is also a huge monetary motivation. Research into cancer, auto-immune diseases, vaccines, diabetes, etc...
All massively driven by $$$ and political power.

Scientific research that does not support the desired result, is axed, or if published, attacked to no end.
Any further studies to be suppressed with extreme prejudice! (which is the REAL problem)

This is NOT science. Hopefully, one day, real help will be possible, for the Trans community, and so many others.

No, lmao. They don't. This is a complete misunderstanding of mammalian embryonic development. We start out with both male and female reproductive tracts (Wolffian ducts and Müllerian ducts). One or the other is eliminated during development but for the first 6 weeks embryos are functionally identical.

People do tend to say being female is "default" in that a functioning sry gene is required to differentiate towards male while differentiating towards female is a "passive" process (only requiring the lack of sry) but even that isn't totally true.

But the existence of a handful of mistakes does not invalidate the concept. People with DSD generally fit well into male or female.
