I’m officially calling The TGS Body Swap AU Broken Mirrors since it fits the identity crisis Jekyll and Hyde have.

This is a very fun AU idea.

I think the Glass Scientists body swap AU might be called Broken Mirrors, maybe representing Jekyll and Hyde no longer being in their bodies.

Here are things that happen in this AU:

The body swap happens after the Dracula story.

It was caused when Jekyll accidentally knocked an unidentified ingredient into the HJ7 without him looking. When he drank the contaminated potion, it destabilized the body, confusing it and now Jekyll is in Hyde’s body while Hyde is in Jekyll’s body.

They keep their eye color, raising suspicions.

They have a hard time being each other, Jekyll not used to the smaller body, having trouble with Hyde’s messy hair and having to hide his identity from the Lodgers, Hyde complains about Jekyll not having his agility, not used to being tall and sometimes likes to mess around as Jekyll. The two having to pretend to be each other.

When they first swapped, Jekyll panicked in his office while Hyde was a bit disappointed not having his own body but for him at least he is in control.

Their voices change to whoever is in control, so they did not do well in their impressions of each other (Like Shatter Me!) Jekyll clumsily making a bad impression of Hyde while Hyde gets back at him by making a exaggerated impression of Jekyll.

This AU has potential, feel free to give your own ideas of this body swap AU. Plus it’s so angsty and funny.

I saw the Glass Scientists chapter: Shatter Me!, i saw Jekyll and Hyde swapping bodies randomly due to unstable transformations, wished they had more moments like this, there is so much potential for a Body Swap AU where this happens earlier, so much humor and angst.

Imagine something wrong goes with the HJ7 and it messes them up, they retain their eye color like the chapter but they get stuck as each other even when they transform.

Imagine Jekyll not used to having long hair or Hyde liking being tall.

Hey, i know there are some Jjba body swap ideas and some of them are really cool, but this idea doesn’t seemed to be used more often, Jotaro and Jolyne swapping bodies, i imagine an alternate Stone Ocean AU with this scenario, i wonder what might happen, but i think it might be caused by a random Stand User and when they find them, their Stand actually transmits the real culprit’s Stand ability, leaving them stuck as each other until they find the user.

Make potential for angst and lots of humor, i imagine they gain each others’ memories as the body’s brain can sometimes give them memories of the owner but doesn’t affect their personality although it causes angst. They keep their Stands though. And it would be funny to see Jolyne hit her head on tops of the doors, or Jotaro dealing with being more fragile. Pucci would be so confused while Emporio probably witnessed the swap and he gets terrified that Pucci might take advantage of it.

I like to see others wanting to use this idea as well, because this idea haunts me every day lately.

It might be very funny to see a body swap episode of Digimon Ghost Game:

I like to see a Digimon swapping bodies around but mostly swaps animals, but begins doing it on some humans with animals along with random Digimon, i like to see the trio fall victim to the body swap, it would be hilarious to see the kids trying to be each other while looking for the Digimon while their partners are weirded out by their state, Gammamon is confused, Angoramon finds it odd and Jellymon finds it hilarious, their reactions might be funny, Hiro and Ruli were shocked but Kiyoshiro is left panicking a lot.

I imagine it would go like this:

Hiro > Ruli > Kiyoshiro > Hiro

I like it if their voices didn’t switch cause hearing the kids talk like each other would be funny, it might be funny hearing Kiyoshiro panic with Hiro’s voice.

It might make it tricky to digivolve their partners as the kids are in their wrong bodies but i think they might have to use their respective Digivices to help their partners digivolve.

(The Jaquin species is from Elena of Avalor, but Kerusians are an alien species that resemble humanoid versions of many animals, even mythical ones, and can turn into the actual animal at will, Beast Inklings and Beast Octolings in this AU are like normal Inklings and Octoling except the energy from Spirit Beasts and some DNA from many animals gave them features of many animals, like ears, tails, wings, horns, etc but are different with tentacle skin instead of fur, scales and feathers, tails resembling a bit like tentacles and wings resembling a mix of manta ray membrane and dragon wings, the horns are more like hard growths instead of bone, their squid forms appear the same except they keep their ears and horn like growths, Beast Arm Users resemble humans but with animal features like ears, tails, wings, etc but also each with an arm that resembles a humanoid version of their animal’s limb, it is either covered with fur, scales or feathers and if it has sharp things like claws and spikes, they can extend them at will, their arm has super strength. The characters are half animal in this AU with elemental powers and Spirit Beasts as their partners)

I took from inspiration from the movie Turning Red, i decided in this AU, Zeke (Toca Life Stories) will be a Beast Shifter, a person who can turn into a giant beast by emotion, Zeke turns into a red tiger with blue stripes but he acts more like a cat sometimes, i was also inspired by the movie Luca so i named the Sea Monster species Seaserpians but that is my idea, you can decide the name on your AUs if you want, Leon (Toca Life Stories) is a Seaserpian, Rita (Toca Life Stories) is a Werewolf and Nari (Toca Life Stories) is a Griffin Beast Inkling.

Ninjala Beast Soul: Swappermania AU:

(This is based on my fanfic sequel to Ninjala, Ninjala Beast Soul, Rita, Zeke, Leon and Nari are from Toca Life Stories while some others are my ocs and characters from other fanfics, this is a crossover AU, this story is based on Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, mostly the story, also, Ninjala Beast Soul and the story connected to it have the most of the main characters as half animals and random species in the AU as well as having elemental powers and partner spiritual animals called Ninja Beasts or Spirit Beasts)

Plot:

Burton and the Awesome Brawlers (from Bakugan Battle Planet/Armored Alliance/Geogan Rising/Evolutions) stumble upon a strange artifact that can switch the soul any creature with another, however, something goes wrong and it ends up switching the heroes’ bodies. Now Burton and Berecca, stuck as each other, must go find a new crystal before the effects become more permanent, with the help of their team, some of them also body swapped, they race against time to reverse the effects before they are stuck in each others’ bodies permanently.

Ninjala headcanon idea!

The 8 Ninjas were on a mission to investigate a strange meteor, they find the meteor, only to be zapped by the strange energy from the meteor, they all awaken in the wrong bodies, they try to finish the mission as each other (This is an au where the main Ninjas are half animal, they also have elemental powers, Van is a tiger, Berecca is a falcon, Ron is a lion, Lucy is a griffin, Burton is a wolf, Emma is a smilodon, Kappei is a dragon and Jane is a fox)

Van in Lucy’s body: he tries to handle his new eye which is uncontrollable but likes the wings but feels weird being a girl, his griffin ears and tail remind Van of his usual tiger ears and tail. Lucy helps him with her eye which Van now has. He has trouble using his new metal powers and misses his fire powers.

Berecca in Burton’s body: she is embarrassed at being in a boy’s body and having wolf ears and tail, she gives Burton his glasses back since their some of their eyesight is slightly switched along with their minds and eye color, which made it easy to tell that “Burton” isn’t Burton, she is overwhelmed having a stronger sense of smell instead of strong sense of sight, she misses having wings but she helps Emma fly in her body. She struggles using her earth powers instead of her usual wind powers.

Ron in Jane’s body: he is annoyed at being stuck as a girl, and being half fox, he does notice Jane’s more agile than he is but lacks in strength, he feels annoyed at Lucy’s personality in his body, he gives Jane her sunglasses so others can tell who she is, he feels uncomfortable with his now larger tail, he has trouble using Jane’s ice powers as they keep freezing stuff.

Lucy in Ron’s body: she feels awkward being a boy and misses her wings but amazed at Ron’s strength, but she has trouble using it as she keeps breaking stuff accidentally, her personality looks weird with Ron’s voice and face, she is worried that Van might lose control of her eye so she helps him control it, she adjusts to Ron’s plant power as it is similar to her own.

Burton in Kappei’s body: he is just as freaked out as the others but is still himself despite having Kappei’s body, he kept his eye color, headphones and glasses which looks odd on Kappei, he finds it weird having blue hair and having dragon horns, wings and tail, he helps Berecca who is in his body to adjust to it, he has trouble flying with Kappei’s wings and finds his thicker tail a bit off, he keeps trying to avoid shocking himself and others with his electrical powers but he still does it accidentally which makes him miss his earth powers.

Emma in Berecca’s body: she find it weird having pink hair and wings on her back, she likes flying but feels awkward without her ears and tail, her dancing skills seem to come with her which surprises Berecca but Emma’s skills are slightly lopsided since she has wings now, she keeps blowing herself around with Berecca’s wind powers as she is used to her water powers.

Kappei in Van’s body: he finds the tiger ears and tail awkward and misses his horns and wings, he notices Van’s reflexes are similar to his own but he has trouble with Van’s heightened senses which are stronger than his own, Gumchi manages to recognize Kappei by the eye color, he tries not to accidentally burn stuff or people with Van’s fire powers.

Jane in Emma’s body: she feels annoyed having a different body but is relieved to stay female, she finds the green hair and smilodon ears and tail odd for her but her reflexes haven’t changed much except she has Emma’s slightly enhanced strength but she feels heavier, she wears her own sunglasses in Emma’s body and the real Emma always wondered what she look like with Jane’s sunglasses, she has trouble using Emma’s water powers since her usual ice powers are more solid and Emma’s powers are liquid.

Other notes:

Van, Berecca, Ron and Lucy are the ones who changed gender in another body while the others ended up in bodies the same gender as their own, but Van, Burton and Emma have trouble using Lucy, Kappei and Berecca’s wings while the real Lucy, Kappei and Berecca struggle being in wingless bodies.

They retain their gum weapons but their battle styles are messed up when they are in another body.

They have trouble using each other’s elements, they accidentally end up burning, freezing, shocking, whacking with metal or vines, blowing with wind, soaking, or blasting rocks at anyone or anything.

They are unused to each other’s animal halves.
