It made me angry that people with bad advice, people who were poor examples, were influencing young kids because I've spent most of my life raising children with bad role models - Even as a kid myself, with no idea how to take care of someone else.
What happens to this next generation really genuinely matters to me.
But as someone with Depression, as someone who has lived too hard of a life, who has thought about giving up more than anyone should ever have to - I think what logan did here was very important and very much matters and should not be censored or silenced.
This is one of the few video's out there of his that does so much Good for others and is absolutely something that people (that Kids) should actually see. Anyone who thinks what he's done here is wrong or sick or terrible clearly does Not understand why he chose to post this and why that was the right decision to make. Those people should feel ashamed for ridiculing the risk he chose to take, shame for making this video so inaccessible when it needs so much to be seen by everyone.
This wasn't disrespectful, it wasn't tactless or stupid, it wasn't wrong. That person who had died had probably never felt seen in their entire life, had never felt like a choice they ever made mattered and had never thought that what happened to them would mean anything - that they would have no influence on the larger world. They died alone, feeling forgotten and like they weren't important enough to remember. That is such a sad thing, that they didn't get to know that they mattered in their life but, at least in their death, they've made that impact that so many people will be able to feel. They were seen, they matter.
That is thanks to logan and thanks to this video.
It's the one time I am thankful that he had such a large platform, that so many people viewed this and took in the message he was trying to give. Depression is a hard and horrible thing and it's a sickness that sits like a parasite inside of you and eats you out from the inside until you feel like there's nothing left, it's so hard to get through it by yourself, it's so hard to ask for help - so hard for people to understand how important it is until it's so clearly too late. It's so important to reach out, it's so important to let yourself be heard, to be seen.
It's so important for people to see what happens when you don't.
Logan gave attention to somebody who needed it so much earlier in their life and, by doing so, gave so many others out there the opportunity to see why it's important to say something before it's too late.
Is it easy to watch? No.
But it needs to be seen.
People need to see what happens when you're too late.

he could in the moment. First off, let me just point out that finding a dead body is not a rare thing, it only seems to be for some people whom live rather sheltered lives. Death is part of reality, and an eventuality to all living things, Your just as likely to find road kill. Human beings die, not just by suicide, but murder, accidents, illness, and just plain untimely circumstances etc. There are many ways human beings die and I think this is being highly overrated and pretty much everyone is overreacting about this. I mean I'll be honest i can't believe you basically have to search for footage of death to find it on the internet when it should just be a public statement. Death is a fact of life and everyone experiences it themselves and in others around them at some point. I think the problem is that we have all kindof evolved and escapist mentality where we choose to ignore reality and them shame those few that do not. Like Logan here. Reality crossed his path in a forest and he chose to embrace it instead of ignore it.
