MAGA thinks all of this is a game — deporting two-year-old U.S. citizens, arresting judges who dare to rule independently, weaponizing government power like a personal tool. They believe they’re “taking their country back.”
What they fail to understand is that once you legitimize authoritarianism, you don’t get to control where it stops.
Today, they’re coming after immigrants and “activist” judges. But once Trump, Bondi, Patel, and their enablers consolidate enough power, what’s to stop them from coming after you?
What happens when they decide you don’t need your guns anymore, that your loyalty isn’t enough, that your rights are now an inconvenience? What happens when the last independent judges are gone — arrested or silenced — and there’s no one left to hear your case, no one left to defend your rights?
You think it won’t happen to you.
You think you’re protected.
But you’re only safe for now.
Every fascist regime in history has turned on its own supporters once they outlived their usefulness. It’s never a matter of if. It’s a matter of when.
Donald Trump isn’t building a country. He’s building a machine — one that consumes everything in its path, including the very people cheering it on.
By the time you realize the mistake, it’ll be too late to undo it.
