Guide To Our Different Width Fittings

Here at DB Wider Fit Shoes, we try to make our footwear as adjustable as we can. Foot conditions, a varied climate and our changing levels of activity can all affect the size and shape of our feet. We aim, therefore, to make our shoes as adaptable as possible.

Our 2V fitting is for a slightly wider foot and can be varied in depth from an EE fitting to a 4E fitting by removing an insole or the adjustment of straps to suit the needs of the wearer.

The shoes are either supplied with 2 removable insoles to create extra depth, "stretchy" upper material or adjustable fastenings on the upper which allows the top part of the shoe to adjust for each foot.

Our 6V fitting shoes are made on the same "wide tread" soles as our 6E fitting shoes but incorporate uppers that can either be adjusted through the use of removable in socks, straps or "stretchy" materials to vary the fitting from a 6E to an 8E fitting.

    Well made, comfortable shoes. It's such a relief to be able to get wide fit shoes with a decent design. My only complaint is that the inner soles are not the best. I've only worn them a few times so too early to assess how they will wear.

    After the operation on my right foot where I have had some bones fused together I struggled to get shoes to fit.
    I found DB wider fit shoes online and found the shoes and trainers I purchased are so comfortable with loads of room for my orthotics, you can't tell that I am wearing orthotics.
    The styles of the shoes are to my satisfaction also.
    The latest shoe/trainer I have purchased has a really light and sole making them even more comfortable.
    I will recommend DB wider fit shoes to anyone.

    The shoe's could be a bit more rigid as when laces are tightened the shoe is so soft it pulls out of shape. Apart from this the shoe's are comfortable

    The smooth leather means suitable for smarter occasions; it is nice to have an alternative to black or brown. Have had previous shoes with this style of sole which I like. Needed to remove second insole in this style but still comfortable. So impressed bought another pair in black!
