A few facts about / NonKyc:
We’ve been receiving a ton of DMs from people asking if we can fix certain issues or if we own XeggeX. Over the past 48 hours, we’ve also been getting support tickets from users who have an XeggeX account...?
1. Ownership:
No, we are not the owners of XeggeX, nor do we have any legal relationship with them. Almost two years ago, we made a deal to use XeggeX’s software as a base and then developed our own exchange on top of that. The only connection is that one of our developers also works for XeggeX; yes, we help each other in development. ""work smarter, not harder"". At the moment, he’s working his ass off with the XeggeX devs to get things restored.
2. Current Situation:
We only know what YOU know. The XeggeX CEO was hacked and lost contact with all devs. We’ve also had very little communication. We suspect it was some sort of social engineering or a SIM swap, but we’re not certain. Simple reason, we don't know.
At NonKyc, we decided to disable all access to XeggeX’s wallet servers the moment we noticed the issue, to prevent further damage—don’t blame us; we’re actually protecting you. That’s why most altcoin assets are still there. Thank me later…
Our devs have the ability to access those servers to fix issues, and install the new listings, so they were also able to restrict access from anyone.)
3. Database Issues:
As far as we know, there is a database connection problem, and both the Xeggex and NonKyc devs are working to resolve it. Fingers crossed.
4. Developer Funds:
Some of the Xeggex developers have their own funds stuck as well, so trust us—they’re highly motivated to fix this situation. And stop blaming them! Do you really think they’ll work harder if they’re getting a load of negativity over issues they’re not even responsible for?

This message is not from the Xeggex CEO, nor is it a “funds are SAFU” announcement. We’re simply tired of receiving countless DMs and Private message, so we wanted to clarify our position.
