Emergency room physicians and radiologists urged the Biden administration to make it easier to combine disputed claims in arbitration under the No Surprises Act in new comments on a recent proposed rule from four federal agencies.
The administration’s proposal (RIN 0928-AV15) for revamping the arbitration process should allow flexibility for emergency care providers to combine claims in arbitration, a process called “batching,” the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Department Practice Management Association, said in a comment letter.
