Dear ERA officials,
I hope this finds you well. This is Yoshito Yahagi, a JRA-licensed trainer for three DWC day
runners this year, including Forever Young in the Dubai World Cup. In regards to the
incidents which occurred with my horse, Forever Young, in the pre-race Receiving Barn and
Urine Testing Unit, I am writing to you today with two main objectives: 1) To hear the ERA’

perspective on the incident, and 2) To initiate a constructive discussion with you on what can
be done to prevent similar incidents in the future.
