Oz Media (born: November 22, 1999 (1999-11-22) [age 25])^[2] is an American YouTuber who is known for his commentary content for a variety of subreddits and Tumblr pages.

Personal life[]

Oz lived in Kuna, Idaho^[3]. They identify as pansexual^[4] and use he/they pronouns. He moved from Idaho to Colorado to live with his now ex girlfriend, Iilluminaughtii and has lived there ever since.

YouTube career and friends[]

Oz Media's channel first formed on February 3rd, 2019 and has obtained 560,000 subscribers over the past 5 years of being active. However, Oz has gone on record stating that the Oz Media account is not his only account. They used to have an ASMR channel that's currently unknown as well as having an alt youtube called Oz's Vault and Oz Gaming.

Oz's main channel would initially start off covering smaller subreddits but branched out to tumblr content as well as occasional game streaming. Oz streams both on his main channel as well as on his side channel called Oz's Vault.

Oz is also frequently active on the Oz Vault Channel, returning to the style of reading stories and combining the modern format hes established from his main channel.

Oz's style of content consists of themselves reading out different posts, giving reactions and general commentary, as well as doing elaborate edits to emphasize the absurdity of the post. People most often note his boisterous laugh as one of the defining features of his reactions.

Oz is known also for being friends with a variety of other reactionary / commentary youtubers such as The Click, OneTopicAtATime, Human1, Damien Lee, Wonderstruck Guy, Savantics, Salty The Alien, Zach Fuller, Robin Nelson, PM Seymour, etc.

Sad Milk and Iilluminaughtii[]

Oz was in the collab channel Sad Milk, along with Iilluminaughtii, Damien Lee, Wonderstruck Guy, Salty the Alien, OneTopicAtATime and The Click. They were called the Milkmen and would do group reactions to various reddit posts and even post a couple live action videos. The channel's style of posting was mainly Comedy and Commentary.

Salty the Alien, OneTopicAtATime, and The Click, left due to Iilluminaughtii's, otherwise known as Blair, verbal abuse and control. Members including One Topic, Wonderstruck Guy, Oz, and The Click would confirm the allegations against Blair to be true in a series of Twitter threads^[5][6][7][8].

Oz revealed that they were often the middle man through manipulation (though they say even if it was manipulation it still wasn't an excuse) and would yell at Click and OT when she wanted them to. They have since taken full accountability and apologized in the aforementioned twitter thread.

In light of the Iiluminaughtii's controversy, Blair would then try to foreclose on Oz's home. Oz ended up doing a live stream and raised 33k to keep his home. He also opened a gofundme to help legal proceedings.

On January 1st, Oz Media would publish a video explaining that the lawsuit has been officially settled in private, with the pair agreeing to no longer speak or contact eachother as a part of the agreement. ^[9] The documentary has also been scrapped, as based on the guidelines of the settlement.

Mini Oz[]

Mini Oz is an assistant and son of Oz. In reality, he is just a sprite with a TTS voice. Mini Oz was introduced on September 3rd, 2019 in the video "r/CursedComments | Frosty The Soul Consuming Pancake".^[10] He is 13 and has a Twitter profile,^[11] controlled by his sprite artist, @remy_ratking on Twitter. Mini Oz did the announcement for his plush, as well as being the news anchor of Mini Oz News, which did an interview with The Click at the end of the episode "r/NoahGetTheBoat | YouTube Can't Delete All of Us (RIP The Click)".^[12]

Mini Oz quickly became a fan favorite which would lead to him getting two plushies. Hes also going to be the star of a mini series in honor of the 500 thousand subscriber milestone for Oz's channel, however its been in development for the past year. Its been delayed heavily but Oz is planning to release it in 2024.
