I agree the writing was bad, but everything else looked good. I'm not familiar with the Addams family history so I understand those who are upset if this is not loyal to source material.

Awful stinky trash … Morticia was not shot correctly and wore too much base, Gomez Addams is now a fat, disgusting sack of shit instead of being sophisticated and eccentric … Uncle Fester just awful. Pugsly just sucks and last oh how they might have fallen we have Jenna Ortega cos playing Wednesday ….. Netflix ruins another childhood favorite …sigh

I think this is a pretty good dark comedy series. Reminds me of Hogwarts, in a much darker tone, but more colorful at the same time. Also, the story is quite interesting. A plus point for Christina Ricci who previously played Wednesday in the 1991 movie version.

This is a good take on Wednesday. the actress is good at it. Tim Burton directs, so expect a dash of dark camp. I miss Angelica Houston's Morticia and in general, I miss the adults. This series is clearly part of the "young adult aka YA" stuff that is fashionable these days, in series and in literature. It's getting a little too much.

I've never watched The Addams Family animations but I can give this 9/10. this is categorized as a comedy but this is not a great comedy though (too glad I didn't watch this like a comedy). and this is the 3rd best Netflix show that come out this month. and PSA your 720p is 🔥👌. Thanks! 🤙.

tv series is beautiful stylized but boring
Jenna Ortega did a good job, but writing is such that dead pan humor of Wednesday gets pretty old pretty fast
it feels less like Addams Family and more like Hotel Transylvania but not in good way
