Constantly seeing people stealing my and my friends' work. It's aggravating to spend weeks on an animation or building just for some jerk to get 100k views per my 100. Especially when I want to pursue a career in these areas. I appreciate what you do and hope it motivates people to do better.

I have never used the trending tab. Home page alone is enough to find new content creators that talk about things I like. YouTube has this tendency of thinking "oh, you like random fringe subject now? Okay" then 30 videos from different channels on the same topic pop up in my home page. Not all good suggestions, but enough for me to not drop the platform entirely for getting tired of big creators.

As a small creator who has been trying to put out good content for years, thank you for what you do! There has truly never been a worse time to be a small creator than now with the algorithm heavily favoring existing creators and short form content. It's truly nice and heartwarming to know that you are using your platform to give others a chance in such a competitive market. Thank you so much for acknowledging us!

To be fair the trending tab should show.. trending videos. You wouldn't go to trending to find new stuff. Youtube nowadays does push small creators in the feed, but they can't do that too much or else people will get off the platform due to the lack of curated videos. A while ago they did the "creators on rise" thing but idk what happened to that. It's a shame that youtube isn't doing more for new creators. The newsletter is a great new step in the #creditthecreators initiative.
