Every single time trans activists have a conversation about child transition, they say puberty blockers are reversible. They are lying.
Child psychiatrist admits that puberty blockers are not reversible in this leaked WPATH video.
“We talk about puberty suppression as reversible. Okay, I’m adding an asterisk to it. It might not be a popular asterisk to add. It’s reversible if you were to stop it, okay, so that’s a hypothetical.
“How often do people go onto blockers with the intention of just stopping it and seeing what happens?”
The answer is virtually never. We know from gender clinic statistics that once kids start down this road, they advance to the opposite-sex hormones, causing sterility and more irreversible harm.
“There are challenges with puberty suppression that we have to acknowledge. And that’s why it’s reversible, asterisk. One cannot be on puberty suppression endlessly.
“And clinically I can tell you it’s a challenging issue when you start a kid on puberty suppression and then they want to stay on puberty suppression, ‘cause they don’t want to even make decisions about either of the two hormones, and then you get to a place where physiologically we need hormones.
“There’s no such thing as non-binaryosterone. Sadly, the hormones are binary.”
He admits for the boys who block puberty, that the lack of growth of their genitalia prevents huge problems when they want to have surgery down the road.
