      I could not give it 5 stars but would of if the wifi was better on it. I can be 10 feet away from my wifi modem and have only 1 or 2 bars of strength. Everything else in the house shows full wifi strength. The unit is very fast and responsive but the wifi on this unit is a deal breaker. I might try to exchange it for another one because I really do like it. I may of just received a defective unit.

      I did not have any of the screen issues. The other guy mentioned in fact the unit looks like it’s brand new even though it’s a year old.. worked perfectly from out of the box took me a second to figure out how to power it up. Just make sure you charge it first.. sign into Google did an update you know they’ve got all these cute cues now where it says we’re gonna update you just hang in there. I think it’s a excellent device. It’s for our group and so being a convertible she can turn it over so we can just look at the screen for Google sheets and we use Google sites for our website. I think it’s a great purchase at the price point. I would definitely get the pentium.

Unfortunately, this one is for the latter. I purchased this device to begin with as a laptop to be used by my son for Chicago public schools and allow him to be able to access his school work. Upon receiving the first unit physically, the device looks and feels wonderful and within 2 days of starting to use it. The screen was no longer capable for touch capabilities and the keyboard was non-functional as well. I called their customer support line at Asus and Asus. Couldn't figure out what was wrong either, but I was supposed to pay to send a device I just bought to go have it repaired by Asus and this is why I say their customer service is knowledge below standard but I would say some of the worst there is on the market today. Amazon luckily was able to step in and send me a new unit as a replacement. Amazon's customer service is some of the best I've ever you dealt with. Got the new unit and now this one over here. Can't even stay connected to Wi-Fi. My kid can't do his homework. This computer is a total piece of garbage even for something as simple as a means to do homework for a grade school. I will never touch another asus device again and I would advise anyone else that is looking into this product to look elsewhere to avoid the frustration that I'm going through right now

Amazon luckily was able to step in and send me a new unit as a replacement. Amazon's customer service is some of the best I've ever you dealt with. Got the new unit and now this one over here. Can't even stay connected to Wi-Fi. My kid can't do his homework. This computer is a total piece of garbage even for something as simple as a means to do homework for a grade school. I will never touch another asus device again and I would advise anyone else that is looking into this product to look elsewhere to avoid the frustration that I'm going through right now
