Metricationism, also known as Metricism, is the ideology that the metric system must be implemented in any given society.
The base metric units are the meter, the second, the kilogram, the ampere, the mole, the kelvin, and the candela. All other measurements for measurable quantities are based off of these seven. Even in the USA and UK, measurements with no equivalent imperial units will be done in metric. An example would be electricity. All of the world's scientific measurements are done in metric.
