nismo13 Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 I had seen a discussion on this forum a while back concerning the layout of the map for gta v. The confusion was that people were not sure if this gta would be an island like previous games, or rather have an endless desert or landmass that continued forever. I think from examining todays video sent by the epsilon group we can get an understanding that gta v may indeed be an island after all. The video below depicts what is believed to be an ocean set on the rage engine most likely in gta v. The ocean itself seems endless. This fact alone does not conclude the whole discussion whether its an island or not because this video is only showing one area of the map which faces the ocean (the other end of the map could possibly be an infinite land mass) but nonetheless we now know that at least one side of the map will be an endless ocean. vans123 Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 dont wanna burst your bubble but anything relating to epsilon and their videos are stuff made by rockstar in their own testing areas, that "infinite" ocean can be IV's ocean with a timelapse, what makes you think is V? just becouse of the last watermark saying GTA V? This could easily just be a land mass next to some water that they threw together, or it could be showing some of the V map. We don't know and we won't know until the game hits. Even the TV shows in GTA 4, have their own setting. Even some of those are in the game files. Quote GTA III did not have endless sea on all sides. Try flying the dodo, idiot.
