It has been announced that the script for "Dark Glass" will be given out at
Transcon III, autographed by Christy Marx.

Excuse me if I dont jump up for joy and applaud this move.

Many know that the need for spoilers on this group is like a bloodlust. One
little piece of info, one little shred of the future, and many will tear at the
chance to recieve it and spread it throughout the online community. Thus
stands the dangers of the Dark Glass script being recieved prior to the
beginning of season three.

Season three plot developments will be given away, and thus spoiled before the
season starts. If the script is given to one fan with net-access, the
ramnifications will be astounding. Many individuals will read the script, and
then they will post to the group with no spoiler warning OR with spoilers in
the topic regarding the contents of the script.

The contents of the script would reveal season three character developments,
plot details, and the revelations of the second season cliffhanger which we as
an audience are not supposed to know until the third season begins. Sadly,
many an individual will not care nor respect the wishes of their fellow
Transfans, and begin theorizing and wildly speculating based on the *facts*
given within the Dark Glass script. Many aspects of the third season will be
revealed, and the ultimate enjoyment of the surprise of the new season will be
ruined.

Picture this: Has Transmutate been canned and then published prior to the
second season premiere, imagine what would have been revealed: The birth of the
Transmetals and Fuzors, the rebirth of Primal, the death of Dinobot, Rampage
and his immortal spark, and possibly the decimation of the ranks, with
Terrorsaur, Scorponok, Tigatron, and Airazor all being dead or missing by that
episode's creation. And to think, Transmutate is the *one* episode in the
second season that had the least to do with advancing the season's plot. The
same could occur with "Dark Glass", and I for one would not like for this to
happen.

Please, anyone who gets advanced copies of the script: be responsible in
posting it onto the newsgroup or on a website. The ramnifications of the
script being revealed to the public may be greater than you think.

HooksX makes a very important point, and i agree completely. Ever since the post
by Men in Black was made, I was trying to think of a way to help keep the spoilers
down. I have created a banner that I hope webmasters will post on thier pages as a
way to say - "I have no season 3 spoilers from Dark Glass on this page." This way
when people surf onto their pages won't stumble across info they wouldn't want to
read. If they see the banner they know it's safe.
If webmasters want to display the banner on their site please email me and I'll
send the banner to you, it's only about 16k in size so it won't burden your
webspace quotta much.
I hope this may help prevent spoiling those who wish not to learn season 3 plot
points before it airs. As for newsgoups like A.T.T, well we'll just have to learn
to be responsible, unless someone else comes up with an idea :-)
This messege has been posted to A.T.T, please spread word to other newsgroups as I
don't visit them frequently. Thanks for reading and I hope many email for the
banner to use.

On a side note, I have posted the banner on my site so you can see what it looks like.
Feel free to grab it and tack it on your site :-) The link to my site is in my sig
line.

Thanx for reading.

Actually we will have a non disclosure agreement there for everyone to sign
BEFORE they receive a copy...any posting will be traced and if the party
involved has signed that agreement than they will be LEGALLY responsible, if
someone from the convention copies it and gives it to a friend to post then
that friend will be LEGALLY responsible, any web page owner who copies it will
be responsible...not to us but to the owners of the script...

Unicron2k5 your words should be VERY heeded around here because I gaurentee you
that the owners of this script will not be happy about violations of the
agreement

Just my $.02
