After the meal Jekyll and Jenny went to bed. Unable to sleep Haylee put on her coat and slipped outside into the night. She had always found comfort in moonlight. She walked down the empty alley ways. After a moment or two she stopped. She felt like someone was following her. She turned around quickly. No one was there. She gripped the handle of her dagger as she continued walking. Suddenly she was grabbed from behind a gloved hand covered her mouth. "Good Evening my dear." A dark voice hissed. "If you promise not to scream I will let you go." Haylee nodded and the hand was removed. "Who are you?" She asked clutching her knife. The stranger looked at it and smiled. "I know that knife." he said then he looked at Haylee "but I put it to better use than you." he chuckled. "Who are you?" Haylee asked again. the man smiled again "Let's just say, I'm part of the family, Haylee Heather Hyde." Haylee stepped back "Why are you following my friend Hyde?" she asked. Edward Hyde frowned "She is not your friend. or did Jekyll not tell you not to trust anyone?" he smirked. Haylee glared at him. "just leave her alone" she hissed. Hyde laughed. "You certainly are of my blood." he said. "And I find it quite ironic that you are playing my dear Lucy." Haylee just glared at him. "Let's not have a family feud, my dear" Hyde said. "I suggest you follow Jekyll's advice. Trust no one." and he disappeared into the night fog .
