If it's a toy out of Japan, 99% chance it has an associated shilling anime. They're generally not bad unless the target demographic is extremely young children.
X is more a return to form with a young teenager demographic instead of drooling toddlers, so there's a bit of something for everyone. Highly recommend it if you can stomach kodomo anime.

Kids anime, since around 2010 with little exception, have had all girls be flat as a board. Even if they're 13+, sometimes even if they're adults. As evidenced by the images posted here (and other kodomo anime not featured) toy commercials from the 00s and before used to have booba on every girl, as you would expect.

So many good memories. The first seasons where the magical beasts had more relevance and the magical beasts plot was over the top were great.
The lasts seasons they toned down (except the last episode madness) the importance of the beasts. No magical beasts fighting in the air, just spinning tops.
The first seasons were awesome and the lasts seasons were shit when it should had been great.
I hate producers and their damned toys.

PS: Basically they wanted to sell spin toys, so they toned down the presence of the magical beasts on the lasts seasons and they killed the hype.
