That's an odd consistency I see everywhere- anime related forums always have the strictest moderation.
In particular, on 8ch, its /a/ had moderation so absurdly strict that people would eat bans for grammar errors, and it even resulted in a more "laidback" rival board being made (that also had stricter moderation than the majority of other boards).
