Robert H. Slipp passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
Born to the late Frank & Marjorie (Simonds) Slipp in Woodstock, NB on May 12, 1963.
Survived by his wife Belinda (Dollentas) Slipp, his children, Abigail Belen Slipp (Abby), Robert Hedley Slipp II (Bobby).
Sister and brothers, Katherine Dore (Steven) of Southampton, NB, Terry Slipp of Grafton, Dale Slipp (Janice) and James Slipp (Sharon) both of Northampton.
Nieces and Nephews, Jessica, Katie, Anne, Emma, Frank, Erika, Jennifer, Marla, Lori, Sydney, Rachel, Emily, Jay.
Several great Nieces and Nephews.
Robert was a talented and skilled carpenter by trade who loved his work. Whether he was building, renovating or just simply doing some small repair jobs, he was quite meticulous about his work and took extra care to meet the needs and satisfaction of his customers in doing his projects. He wouldn’t hesitate to help others no matter the time of day it was, he finds ways to help them out. He loved to laugh as well as make people laugh. His deep sense of humour reflected a warm and close relationship with his customers, family and friends. He also loved and enjoyed the serenity of nature. He loved to spend time alone working in the family woodlot in Northampton. He loved making Maple syrup, go on snowmobile that he built in the winter or building roads at their camp. His Christian beliefs leaves a legacy. He emphasized to his children, nieces and nephews how important it is to lead a life following in Jesus’ example.
Visitation at The Culberson Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
Funeral service for Robert Slipp will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm from Woodstock Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Woodcock officiating. Interment will follow at the Kirk Cemetery, Northampton, NB
